APPENDIX 2: Guide to chemicals used to control pests and diseases
(first page only)
A number of chemicals have been recommended in this book for the control
of pests and diseases. More than one chemical may be suggested, as it
is a good idea to alternate the use of pesticides to avoid resistance
building up. Other chemicals may also be suitable. Don't forget that,
if you do use chemicals, you can destroy the natural predators of the
pest or disease.
